Erie Together and Gannon University Host Eighth Annual Youth Civic Engagement Symposium

On September 20, 2023, Erie Together and Gannon University hosted our eighth annual Youth Civic Engagement Symposium! More than 100 senior high students from nine schools, along with chaperones and volunteers, attended the event designed to help students learn more about the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of federal, state, county and local government. What a great day hearing from 20 local leaders!

Special thanks to our public officials for sharing their time and expertise with the students, and to Erie Insurance for underwriting much of the event’s costs!
