Profile of a Graduate

During the 2022/23 school year, Erie Together led the creation of a new, invaluable resource for Erie County: our Profile of a Graduate (also pictured below). This project was shepherded through our Erie County Career Pathways Alliance and a 40-member Community Steering Committee. YouScience provided invaluable consulting assistance.

The Profile of a Graduate articulates the skills and attributes we, in Erie County, believe our high school graduates should possess in order to achieve success throughout their lifetime. In February 2025 we worked with an external expert to have our Profile of a Graduate documents translated into five commonly spoken languages locally:

We are also working with an outside expert to develop an Activity Book and Assessment for use by youth serving organizations, parents, and caregivers that will be completed by June 2025.

The translation work and activity book development are supported 100% by the PA Department of Labor and Industry of the U.S. Department of Labor, as part of an award totaling $87,000 with $0.00 and 0% financed from nongovernmental sources.
