Aligning Education to Careers: 4th Grade through College

Theme

All children successful as adults.

Outcome

Increase the number of students graduating high school prepared for meaningful employment and/or successful completion of post-secondary education.

Accomplishments

• Developed definition of a career plan based on PA standards, endorsed by county-wide school superintendents; and
• Facilitated connections between the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership, the School to Careers Partnership, the Workforce Investment Board, Erie County school districts and other community-based programs.
